Small - Fine - Compact
For a long time I had been considering offering the ODR-C in a smaller design, which has been used for a long time for pedalboards. Since pedalboards usually provide enough 9 volts (or more) DC connections, all parts for battery operation (battery compartment, 9 volt clip, switch-on electronics, etc.) can be omitted. In particular, the space requirement is significantly reduced as a result! In addition, I removed the internal brightness control for the LED. This is practical - but not so necessary either. The effort involved in assembling these parts is reduced because fewer components and cables need to be soldered by hand. That affects the price! The sound-determining electronic components naturally correspond to the original ODR-C, so that the sound remains absolutely identical.
So the same quality with a smaller size and a smaller price...

Size Comparison ODR-CC+ / ODR-C
I decided to offer two versions:
ODR-CC WITHOUT Mid Control |
ODR-CC+ WITH Mid Control |
Here is an overview of the features:
- Compact Design (l x w x h) 105 x 60 x 50 mm
- Small, stable and closed aluminum housing (Hammond / UK). Perfect shielding against hum and EMC!
- True bypass operation
- Special foot switch with an extra light pressure point
- Solid construction such as screwed circuit boards with gold-plated contacts between the main and controller circuit board
- 1 % metal film resistors
- Maximum 5 % tolerance with very good film capacitors (Wima, Epcos, Kemet) in the signal path
- solid 6.3 mm (1/4") Lumberg sockets (Germany)
- High quality potentiometer (Like ODR-C)
- 18 Volt operation with polarity protection. By operating with voltages between 9 V and 18 V, other timbres are possible. Difficult to explain: just try it out! The feel of the game changes.
- ontrols (Potentiometer)

- Bass* - Spectrum
* There is still an optimization for the ODR-C:: For reasons of space I have arranged the two or three tone controls next to each other. This has become tight for the three tone controls on the ODR-CC +, but can still be turned to some extent. So that the turning function (left: less, right: more) is the same for all tone controls, the ODR-C Lo-Cut controller has been turned into a bass controller. The same function, but with the opposite direction of rotation, to match the other tone controls.
